Mason Hall Methodist Church holds its harvest thanksgiving on its traditional March weekend, one of the first in Tobago’s harvest calendar. The day opens with a service of thanksgiving and moves into a shared village meal, drawing back families from Trinidad and abroad in a homecoming as much as a celebration. Local food is central, from crab and dumpling to curried goat, provisions and sweetbread, and is typically offered without charge. The harvest is open to all, and visitors are welcomed warmly at the church in Mason Hall, inland north of Scarborough.
