These Terms govern your use of the TriniGo platform. By using TriniGo, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform. We’ve written these in plain language because we believe in being fair and honest. Questions? Email [email protected].
1. What TriniGo Is
TriniGo is a national digital marketplace for Trinidad and Tobago — a directory and discovery platform connecting users with local businesses, places, and experiences. We are a platform, not a party to any transaction between users and listed businesses.
2. Who Can Use TriniGo
You must be at least 13 years old to use TriniGo. Business accounts require the registering person to be authorised to represent that business.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Report suspected unauthorised access to [email protected] immediately
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
4. Listings and Content
Business Listings
- Information you submit must be accurate, current, and not misleading
- You must own or have rights to all content you submit, including images and logos
- We may edit, reject, or remove listings that violate our standards or contain inaccurate information
- Claiming a listing you do not own or represent is prohibited
User-Generated Content (Reviews, Comments)
- Be honest — reviews must reflect genuine experiences
- Be respectful — harassment, defamation, hate speech, and personal attacks are prohibited
- No fake reviews — this includes reviews for businesses you own, manage, or are affiliated with
- By submitting content, you grant TriniGo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the platform
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Use TriniGo to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute TriniGo data without written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
- Use automated tools (bots, crawlers) without prior written consent
- Impersonate another person or business
- Use the platform for spam, phishing, or any unlawful purpose
6. Intellectual Property
The TriniGo name, logo, design system, and platform code are owned by or licensed to TriniGo. You may not use them without written permission. You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the licence in Section 4.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
TriniGo may link to external websites. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or reliability.
8. Advertising and Promoted Listings
Some listings and placements are paid. Promoted content is clearly identified. Payment for promotion does not affect the integrity of user reviews.
Advertising is subject to our Advertiser Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
TriniGo is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Inaccuracies in listings submitted by third parties
- Transactions or disputes between users and listed businesses
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the platform
- Downtime, technical failures, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control
Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, personal injury, or death caused by negligence.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago, unless applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
11. Changes to These Terms
We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
