St Andrew’s Anglican Church in Scarborough holds its harvest thanksgiving in November, in Tobago’s capital. Harvest joins a service of thanksgiving to an open meal shared across the congregation and community, a homecoming as much as a celebration. Tobago food carries the day, from crab and dumpling to provisions and sweetbread, usually without charge. Being in Scarborough, this is among the most accessible harvests on the island. Visitors are welcome without invitation, and modest dress is appreciated.
