Tobago Western region encompasses the island's primary tourism corridor and urban centre, stretching from ANR Robinson International Airport through Crown Point to Scarborough and northwest coast communities. The region serves as Tobago's commercial, administrative, and tourism heart, offering comprehensive accommodation, dining, services, and attractions. Crown Point anchors tourism infrastructure with hotels, restaurants, dive operators, and entertainment, while Scarborough provides capital city services, shopping, and administrative functions. Communities throughout the region offer beach access, historical sites, residential areas, and local businesses. The region benefits from developed infrastructure, transportation facilities, and tourist services that support Tobago's economy. Tobago Western continues to balance tourism development with community needs and cultural preservation, maintaining authentic character while providing quality visitor experiences and essential services for residents.
The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is the southernmost island in the Caribbean archipelago. Located just off the north-eastern coast of the South America mainland, the twin island Republic is home to international greats such as Miss Universe 1998, Wendy Fitzwilliam; Cricket Legend, Brian Charles Lara; and Carnival, the Greatest Show on Earth. The larger of the two islands, Trinidad, has a boot-like shape, measures 37 miles (80km) by 50 miles (60 km), and is noted for having an ecological and geographical diversity that is unmatched in the region.
The capital city, Port of Spain, is the business centre of the Caribbean, housing the headquarters for a number of local businesses, a myriad of restaurants and nightlife entertainment like no other. The sister isle of Tobago is a stark contrast to Trinidad. Considerably smaller in size, Tobago is well-known for its coral reefs, pristine blue waters and white sandy beaches, the smaller island is perfect for leisure activities and an immersive experience with nature. An abundance of natural reserves in oil and natural gas has made significant contributions to the strength of the Trinidad & Tobago economy—making it one of the strongest economies in the region.

9 Reviews on “Store Bay, Crown Point, Trinidad and Tobago”
Beautiful beach with crystal clear water and mild sand. The waves were almost nonexistent on the day we visited. I visited Tobago with my husband and 7 year old daughter. We heard Store Bay can be too crowded on weekends but we were there on a working day so it was nice. This is a cool family beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas if you come early enough. There are many kinds of food and sweets nearby when you get hungry. My daughter loved the place. We are definitely visiting Store Bay again.
Even though at first I wanted a more romantic spot because I visited Tobago with my boyfriend, I must say Store Bay is fantastic. We planed to relax and not do anything but this beach is so busy with a lot of things to see and do that we couldn’t lay still. Rent a Jet Ski ride or a Tours to somewhere. Everything is a bit pricey but you get a lot of fun.
I celebrated my 18th birthday here and I will never forget it. It was just as I love it – packed beach with lots of young people. We went swimming and some of my friends rented jet ski. We had some of the best cocktails that day and it was a pure pleasure.
This beach was made for relaxing. The water has the most beautiful color and the sand is so mild and soft, you have a feeling that your feet are stepping in a fine flour. I had a comfortable chair and umbrella and literally did nothing but soak in the sun and had my beer. I think I might move to T and T just so I can enjoy this place more often.
Many food stalls offering delicacies, beautiful turquoise water, changing rooms, showers… Everything in one place. I don’t like crowded beaches and it was the only thing I can say i didn’t like.
The beach is versatile. It offers everything, from food and drinks to diving tours. I can recommend it to everyone.
The beach is beautiful but it’s for youngsters mostly, I find it too crowded to be able to relax.
We love this beach, you can hire your sun-beds from Simples, just don’t put them too close to water, because of the tide. The guy who rents them is so nice. Some of the beach trips to Buccoo or nylon pool start from this beach. The food is also great, you can get some famous Tobagonian meals like Crab and dumplings for less than $10. It’s a good beach choice for budget travelers. We have two kids and we had loads of fun.
My parents and I took of sailing right from this beach and instantly knew that we’d come back here the next day. It’s paradise. Sun beds are affordable, the shadows are great and if you love swimming as much as I do, you’d enjoy the turquoise water all day long.
