The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is the southernmost island in the Caribbean archipelago. Located just off the north-eastern coast of the South America mainland, the twin island Republic is home to international greats such as Miss Universe 1998, Wendy Fitzwilliam; Cricket Legend, Brian Charles Lara; and Carnival, the Greatest Show on Earth. The larger of the two islands, Trinidad, has a boot-like shape, measures 37 miles (80km) by 50 miles (60 km), and is noted for having an ecological and geographical diversity that is unmatched in the region.
The capital city, Port of Spain, is the business centre of the Caribbean, housing the headquarters for a number of local businesses, a myriad of restaurants and nightlife entertainment like no other. The sister isle of Tobago is a stark contrast to Trinidad. Considerably smaller in size, Tobago is well-known for its coral reefs, pristine blue waters and white sandy beaches, the smaller island is perfect for leisure activities and an immersive experience with nature. An abundance of natural reserves in oil and natural gas has made significant contributions to the strength of the Trinidad & Tobago economy—making it one of the strongest economies in the region.

Horrible costumer service and very disrespectful. Refusal to exchange goods. Dont shop here! They sell soiled goods as well
Dear Store Manager/Owner,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent experience my family and I had at your store. On 16.03.24, my husband, son and I visited the Gulf City branch of your establishment, where we purchased some items for my son including a black pair of dress pants. He did try it on in the store but when he got home, unfortunately, upon trying it on again, he realized that the size was a bit larger than he wanted.
Unable to visit the store because of busy schedules of both my son and me, I tried calling the phone contact stated on the bill. I tried several times but got no response. My husband volunteered to visit the store today to see if there was a possibility of an exchange of the merchandise, After leaving the store, my husband called me to let me know that he was unsuccessful, but further to that, the attendant at the counter wrote on the bill that the pants “soil” or something to that effect, without showing my husband the spot or spots referred to as “soil”. I am not about to interpret the language since the handwriting is not clear, but I am appalled that this individual could be so dishonest to request the bill from my husband and then proceed to write an untrue statement on it. I assure you that the dress pants was not “soil”. When it was purchased it came off a pile in the store with no packaging and it remained in the bag in which it was placed at the counter. It was returned in the bag today, in the same condition as it was purchased.
My husband indicated too, that another attendant behaved in a very rude and dismissive manner. Really? Is this the quality of customer service we should expect from such an establishment?
It is clear that that there is no exchange policy mentioned on the bill. I do believe customers should have the right to exchange or return items within a reasonable time frame which should be clearly stated on the bill.
I kindly request that you reveal your exchange policy and so provide clearer information for other customers at the point of sale.
At this point I am no longer interested in exchanging the dress pants or further to that, in making any more purchases at your establishment, because of the unprofessional and discourteous behaviour of some of your staff. I will commend though, the young man who assisted us on the 16.03.24. His professionalism should be emulated by the other staff members that my husband encountered today.
I will consider taking this matter further to the relevant authorities that manage the rights of consumers so that others who enter your establishment may not be treated in a similar manner.
Please note too that the phone number and email address on the bill appear to be incorrect. I sent this message to the email address on the bill only to receive a response that it was someone else’s email address. Also I am trying to attach a picture of the bill here but I am unable to do so. Could you provide an accurate email address for the Gulf City branch please.
