The Ministry of Education has released the school calendar for the 2026 to 2027 academic year in Trinidad and Tobago, giving parents and guardians the term start and end dates to plan around ahead of the new school year.
The calendar applies to the public primary and secondary school system and covers three terms running from September 2026 through to July 2027. Having the dates early lets families plan work leave, childcare and travel around the school breaks rather than waiting on individual school notices.
2026-2027 term dates
- Term I: 7 September 2026 to 11 December 2026 (14 weeks)
- Term II: 4 January 2027 to 25 March 2027 (12 weeks)
- Term III: 12 April 2027 to 9 July 2027 (13 weeks)
