Charlotteville holds its fishermen’s festival in late June, around St Peter’s Day, in the fishing village on Man O’ War Bay. St Peter is the patron saint of fishermen, and the festival blesses the boats and nets that sustain this seafaring community. The day usually opens with a service, followed by a procession to the beach, boat races, food and music. Charlotteville is one of Tobago’s most scenic villages, and its festival offers visitors a warm welcome into genuine village life.
