Delaford St.Paul Anglican Church Harvest Festival, Roxborough, Trinidad and Tobago

St Paul’s Anglican Church at Delaford holds its harvest thanksgiving in late May, on Tobago’s windward coast between Roxborough and Speyside. A harvest joins a service of thanksgiving to an open village meal, a homecoming that draws back family and gathers the community for the day. Tobago food carries the occasion, from crab and dumpling to curried goat and ground provisions, usually shared without charge. Delaford is a quiet village on the road to Speyside, and visitors are welcome to join the harvest without invitation.
