St Edward’s Anglican Church in Belle Garden holds its harvest thanksgiving in early May on Tobago’s windward coast. The harvest combines a thanksgiving service with a shared village meal, a long-standing tradition that doubles as a community homecoming. Local food is at the heart of the day, from crab and dumpling to curried goat and ground provisions, usually offered freely with donations welcome. Belle Garden lies west of Roxborough on the windward road, and visitors travelling the coast are welcome to join without invitation.
