For the diaspora

Coming home for Carnival, Christmas or family?

Whether you are back to play mas, spend Christmas with family or show the children where you grew up, a little planning makes the visit smoother.
  • Carnival 2027 is Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 February. Book flights and a room early, especially near Port of Spain.
  • The online Arrival/Departure Card applies to everyone, nationals included, on the way in and on the way out.
  • Sort transport before you land. Line up a hire car or a private taxi for the airport run so you are not waiting at arrivals.
  • Add a few days in Tobago. The air bridge is about 25 minutes, so a Tobago stretch fits easily around family time in Trinidad.
