L’Anse Fourmi holds its harvest festival in May, in one of Tobago’s most remote and scenic corners on the north coast beyond Charlotteville. A harvest is a thanksgiving service followed by an open village meal, and in a small village like this it is very much a homecoming. Tobago food anchors the day, shared freely in the village tradition. The drive out is part of the experience, winding through rainforest and coastline. Visitors are welcome, and an early start is wise given the distance.
