St David’s Anglican Church in Plymouth holds its harvest thanksgiving in early November, in the historic town on Tobago’s leeward coast. Harvest combines a thanksgiving service with an open village meal, a homecoming that draws back families and neighbours. Local food carries the day, from crab and dumpling to curried goat and provisions, usually offered without charge. Plymouth is rich in history, home to Fort James and the mysterious Mystery Tombstone. Visitors are welcome to the harvest without invitation.
