St Michael’s Anglican Church at Whim holds its harvest thanksgiving in May, just inland of Scarborough. Harvest joins a service of thanksgiving to an open meal shared across the village, a tradition that gathers returning family and neighbours alike. The table carries Tobago favourites, from crab and dumpling to provisions and sweetbread, usually without charge. Whim’s closeness to Scarborough makes this an easy harvest to reach. Visitors are welcome without invitation, and modest dress is appreciated at the service.
