PAYNT The Summer, Scarborough, Trinidad and Tobago

PAYNT The Summer is a paint and j’ouvert-style party held in late June at the Parade Grounds in Scarborough. Paint parties take their cue from Carnival j’ouvert, with revellers covered in paint and colour as they move to soca and DJs. Held in the summer rather than the Carnival season, it brings that same high-energy release to a mid-year date. Expect an early, lively crowd and clothes you do not mind ruining.
