Caribbean Airlines Tobago Flights Move to New ANR Robinson East Terminal on 14 October

Caribbean Airlines passengers flying to or from Tobago will use the new terminal from this week. The airline has confirmed that, from 5:45 AM on Wednesday 14 October 2026, all of its Tobago flights will operate through the new A.N.R. Robinson International Airport East Terminal, located on Store Bay Local Road.

Arriving and departing

Passengers travelling to Tobago will arrive at the new terminal. Those leaving Tobago should go straight to the new terminal to check in and depart.

Reservations and ticketing

From 14 October, the Caribbean Airlines reservations and ticketing desk will also be at the new terminal, open Monday to Sunday from 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM.

Security screening and the 3-1-1 rule

The new terminal has a centralised security screening checkpoint. Importantly for regular air bridge travellers, the 3-1-1 rule for liquids in hand luggage applies to all departing passengers, including those on domestic flights between Tobago and Trinidad.

  • Each liquid container must hold 100ml (3.4oz) or less.
  • All containers must fit into one clear, resealable plastic bag of no more than one litre.
  • Only one bag is allowed per passenger.

Pack your hand luggage with this in mind to avoid delays at screening.

About the new terminal

The Ministry of Works and Transport marked practical completion of the new A.N.R. Robinson International Airport terminal on 15 March 2025. The two-storey building covers 25,500 square metres and is designed to International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards.

Key features highlighted by the Ministry include:

  • A spacious Public Departure Hall serving both international and domestic flights
  • Self-service check-in kiosks and streamlined baggage handling
  • Nine departure gates
  • VIP and CIP lounges
  • Parking for 315 vehicles
  • Energy-efficient lighting and environmentally friendly construction elements
