The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is the southernmost island in the Caribbean archipelago. Trinidad is famous for its birds and animals, of course the beautiful nature and beaches. If you really want to see some colorful birds and enjoy nature far from the crowds the Wildfowl Trust is the place to be. I’ve visited it with local friends and I had a special guide who introduced me to the place properly.
Always go with a guide! We visited WildFowl by ourselves and didn’t learn anything about the wildlife or plants. It was refreshing, but it would be better to be properly educated, especially about birds.

We visited in rainy period, not so good, the birds flew away and we wet our shoes, I even caught a cold, and another time we went with a guide and the weather was amazing, nature just woke up, it was perfect.
