Tobago Western region encompasses the island's primary tourism corridor and urban centre, stretching from ANR Robinson International Airport through Crown Point to Scarborough and northwest coast communities. The region serves as Tobago's commercial, administrative, and tourism heart, offering comprehensive accommodation, dining, services, and attractions. Crown Point anchors tourism infrastructure with hotels, restaurants, dive operators, and entertainment, while Scarborough provides capital city services, shopping, and administrative functions. Communities throughout the region offer beach access, historical sites, residential areas, and local businesses. The region benefits from developed infrastructure, transportation facilities, and tourist services that support Tobago's economy. Tobago Western continues to balance tourism development with community needs and cultural preservation, maintaining authentic character while providing quality visitor experiences and essential services for residents.
The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is the southernmost island in the Caribbean archipelago. Located just off the north-eastern coast of the South America mainland, the twin island Republic is home to international greats such as Miss Universe 1998, Wendy Fitzwilliam; Cricket Legend, Brian Charles Lara; and Carnival, the Greatest Show on Earth. The larger of the two islands, Trinidad, has a boot-like shape, measures 37 miles (80km) by 50 miles (60 km), and is noted for having an ecological and geographical diversity that is unmatched in the region.
The capital city, Port of Spain, is the business centre of the Caribbean, housing the headquarters for a number of local businesses, a myriad of restaurants and nightlife entertainment like no other. The sister isle of Tobago is a stark contrast to Trinidad. Considerably smaller in size, Tobago is well-known for its coral reefs, pristine blue waters and white sandy beaches, the smaller island is perfect for leisure activities and an immersive experience with nature. An abundance of natural reserves in oil and natural gas has made significant contributions to the strength of the Trinidad & Tobago economy—making it one of the strongest economies in the region.

It is quite a popular historical attraction so it can be packed, especially the parking lots, but it’s worth seeing. If you can pick an hour early in the morning and visit it, ti can be less crowded so you can sit and observe the sea and the boats. I personally loved the view.
I’m always down for exploring the historical places rather than just lounging in beach restaurants. This is a small fort where you can learn a lot for the place from the few boards that are placed there. You don’t even need a guide. The view from up there is glorious and if you don’t mind the people, it’s a great place to sit and relax.
Great view, not too many parking lots, but it’s fun to take your children here. Perfect for a quick break during your island tour.
One of the island’s attractions where you can catch a breath and enjoy a good view. Take a cab or go with an organized transport, because the place is packed with cars. It is enjoyable if you don’t have to think where to leave your vehicle.
