Moriah Moravian Church holds its missionary lovefeast at the end of March, in the hill village above Tobago’s leeward coast. A Moravian lovefeast, or agape, is a service of Christian fellowship built around a simple shared meal, traditionally sweet bun with coffee or tea, and carried along by hymns and music. It marks fellowship and mission in the life of the church. Moriah is one of Tobago’s most tradition-rich villages, and visitors are welcome to share in the occasion.
